The aerospace supply chain in Campania: A rapidly growing sector

Within the regional economy, the aerospace supply chain plays a strategic role, both due to the established industrial presence and the high technological content developed in the region. A constantly expanding sector, which is now equipping itself with new tools to strengthen its competitiveness at the European level.

The characteristics that make aerospace in Campania a high-potential testing ground are:

  • a broad value chain distributed on a global scale;
  • a few large assemblers alongside numerous aerospace SMEs capable of developing advanced technologies and complex production processes;
  • high capital requirements and strong investment in Research & Development;
  • need for highly qualified personnel.

Sistema Industriale Spazio Sud: the new network for southern Italy’s SMEs

This is the context in which Sistema Industriale Spazio Sud was established — a network bringing together SMEs and startups from Campania and Southern Italy active in the aerospace sector. An initiative representing a significant step forward for the industry, supported by investments from the Campania Region through the European cohesion policies of the PR FESR.

The goal is to build a cohesive productive and innovative system, capable of networking and multiplying the impact of individual centres of excellence. All the conditions are in place to establish Campania as a leading aerospace hub in Europe: a mature supply chain, a dynamic SME ecosystem and strong institutional support.

Qualitas and Blulink at WMD 2026: digitalisation for the aerospace industry

It is in this context that Qualitas — a company headquartered in Vicenza with an office in Naples since 2021 — has chosen to invest in the aerospace supply chain. Qualitas will participate in the 7th Edition of WMD, the leading industrial trade fair in Southern Italy, scheduled at the Mostra d’Oltremare in Naples from 14 to 16 May 2026.

This year, Qualitas will be present alongside Blulink, an Italian software house whose ERP system Quarta Evo supports companies in the digitalisation of Quality processes. Both companies are part of Impresoft Group and collaborate within the Competence Center "Smart Manufacturing & Quality", with the shared goal of bringing aerospace SMEs an integrated digital ecosystem connecting production and quality.

NET@PRO and QUARTA EVO: the integrated solution for Industry 4.0 and 5.0

At the heart of the proposed innovation is the connection between NET@PRO — Qualitas’ Digital Manufacturing Suite — and QUARTA EVO, Blulink’s Quality Management software. Together they form an intelligent ecosystem capable of:

  • collecting and analysing real-time production data;
  • automating quality controls on samples and suppliers;
  • managing measurement instruments and calibration certificates;
  • tracking every phase of the production cycle with predictive logic;
  • ensuring regulatory compliance and reducing human errors.

The system integrates with the main corporate ERPs, generates automatic KPIs to monitor the entire Quality System and concretely moves companies closer to factory 5.0, where people, machines and algorithms collaborate to improve quality and productivity.
